The Vario 100 weight bench from Kettler can serve as a firm foundation around which to build your home workout routine. Flexible adjustment settings for many training positions

The backrest of the Kettler weight bench Vario 100 can be set to seven different angles suitable for performing a variety of exercises. You can set the seat to an upright position for shoulder presses, have it perfectly horizontal for classic flat bench presses or even exercises in a declined position. Integrated foot supports let you hook your feet under them for more stability, for example with ab exercises.

Ideal for use with a barbell rack

Plenty of dumbbell exercises can be done with the bench alone, but the Vario 100 really shines when combined with a rack for barbell exercises. The spotter bars and hooks of a rack allow beginners and advanced lifters to train with relative safety even without a partner.

Example exercises

The Vario 100 is great for performing a variety of exercises. Dumbbells allow for a wide range of motion and are great for doing flye exercises that target the pectoral muscles and shoulders; adjusting the angle of chest flyes or bench presses works either the upper or lower pecs. If set to an incline, the lifter can stand over the bench and perform preacher curls using the bench to support their arms at an optimal angle to work the biceps. Skull crushers, overhead tricep extensions and bench dips grow the back of the arms to increase their overall size. Setting the bench to a decline position makes crunches and sit-ups more intense for effective ab exercises. With a weight in your lap, the bench under your shoulders and your feet off to the side, you can do hip thrusts to work your glutes and leg muscles. To build a stronger back and shoulders, lie on your stomach and perform chest-supported rows and reverse flyes.

When you’re done with your workout, the Kettler weight bench Vario 100 folds flat for storage and can be propped up against a wall or hung by its handle to free up space.
